Starlette Dossou, mentored by Dr. Richard Hallworth, Dept of Biomedical Sciences, has won a prestigious Minority Student Travel Award to present at the American Society for Cell Biology National Meeting in San Diego, CA, in December 2006. Her presentation concerns post-translational modifications of the microtubule protein, tubulin, in cilia.

Dr. Archana Chatterjee (Pediatrics) and Dr. Roberta Sonnino (Dean's Office)  participated in a Panel on  "Making your work, work for you", at the 2006 meeting of the AAMC, in Seattle, WA.

Cam E. Enarson, M.D., M.B.A., vice president for Health Sciences and Dean of the

School of Medicine at Creighton University,

has received an honorary degree from

Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn.

Enarson, a 1978 summa cum laude graduate

of Concordia College, delivered the commencement address at the ceremony.

Dr. Enarson earned his medical degree

from the University of Alberta and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
