Ghana 2009  

 

Our mission is to help those in need while also undergoing a cultural immersion, better understanding humans as a whole and making us better physicians. 

 

We will be volunteering with Global Volunteers in Akrade Ghana, because they have the same ideals and values and they work with the community year round; therefore, avoiding “medical tourism”.  With Global Volunteers, we will rotate between the health clinic, teaching classes, and building houses. 

 

We will arrive in Accra (Ghana) May 16th and leave June 10th.
