2009 Project CURA Romania Tentative Schedule

Arrive in London on May 26^th, travel to Budapest on July 28^th. Arrive in Arad on June 1^st.

Arad- June 1^st -June 2^nd 

- Tour of the hospital to gain a basic overview about the approach towards medicine in Romania. 

Buteni- June 3^rd- June 5^th

-Work with local doctors to provide basic, door-to-door health screenings for the residents of the villages.  This will include blood pressure checks, glucose readings and heart screens.

Sighisoara- June 6^th- June 9^th

-Work with the Tigmandru Clinic which largely services the Rroma population.

-Hold public forums on the pasics and principals of hygiene and public health

Cluj- June 10^th- June 14^th

            -Work with the doctors and medical students in the Cardiology Hospital

            -Work with the doctors and medical students in the Pediatric Hospital

-Work with the doctors in a gerontology clinic to help the patients at the day center as well as with their house calls.

Zalau- June 15^th- June 18^th

            -Work with the Prader-Willi foundation

            -Work with doctors in a local genetics clinic
