Project CURA SE Asia (previously known as Project CURA Cambodia) is unique among the CURA trips in that group members volunteer at three separate sites in three different countries: the Philippines, Cambodia, and Thailand.  Partnering with HOPE Worldwide, the SE Asia trip attempts to adhere to CURA's pillars of simple living, cultural sensitivity, service, and community through a variety of volunteer activities at sites in and around Manila, Phnom Penh, and Bangkok.  Previous service projects included working at HOPE community centers, rehabilitation homes for abused children, AIDS hospices, and orphanages for physically or mentally handicapped children.  Cultural immersion and global health perspective are important components of the trip as well, with several activities aimed at increasing cultural awareness and understanding, such as tours of Tuol Sleng, and Angkor Wat as well as a tour of the privately owned and operated Sihanouk Hospital in Phnom Penh.

The SE Asia trip was founded in 2006 and there is tremendous potential for the addition and/or continuation of service projects in all three countries.

Due to transportation limitations at some of the volunteer sites, the SE Asia trip is only able to accommodate about 5-7 people.
