Committee on Committees

This Committee functions as the Elections Committee for the SOM. It determines vacancies on all committees for the upcoming year, solicits nominations, conducts the election, tabulates the results, and advises the Dean regarding appointed positions on Standing Committees.

The committee meets at least once per year or as deemed necessary.

The Committee on Committees

consists of six members elected for

staggered two-year terms by the Faculty

from among its members; two (one each year) shall be from the full-time Basic Science Faculty elected by the full-time

Basic Science Faculty, two (one each year) from the full-time Clinical Faculty

elected by the full-time Clinical Faculty,

and two (one each year) from the Contributed Service Faculty elected by the Contributed Service Faculty. The chair of this Committee shall be elected by and from among its members at the first meeting of each year
