Creighton University School of Medicine (CUSOM) proposes the Center of Excellence Program (COE) as a comprehensive approach to the problem of under-representation of economically and educationally disadvantaged persons in the nation’s health care workforce.  Our focus areas are:

  •  Faculty  Recruitment, Development, and Retention
  •  Information Resources, Curriculum, Clinical Settings and Cultural Competency
  •  Faculty and Student Research
  •  Student Training in Providing Health Care Services

This Center of Excellence Program is funded by a grant (grant number 5 D34HP01031) from the Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration to Creighton University.
