Erin grew up in San Diego and then moved to Davis where she attended University California Davis. While studying Microbiology and English, she worked in the Emergency Department and University California Davis Medical Center (affectionately known as UCDMC) as an Emergency Medicine Research Associate. After one year in this program, she became an Associate Chief of the program and was responsible for training new recruits and helping make the program run smoothly. She also worked for Medical Pathology as a student assistant in the Human Biological Specimens Repository and as an instructor for Kaplan Test Prep. Erin graduated from UC Davis in June of 2004 majoring in Microbiology and minoring in English.
