Katie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Montana State University in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. She volunteered in a child mentoring program, in the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Montana, and with Habitat for Humanity. Katie spent her summers doing research in the neuroscience department at Montana State and working for a fly fishing outfitter on the Smith River. She is interested in becoming a pediatrician. Katie likes to hang out with her friends, river rafting, hiking and skiing in her free time.
