Dan Dahl graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Dakota with a bachelor of science in Interdisciplinary Studies: Health Sciences. Throughout college, Dan worked as a certified nursing assistant, volunteered at the Family Practice Center on campus, coached Special Olympic Track and Soccer, mentored eighth grade students, read to elementary students and spoke to them about the importance of education, and participated in the 'Sioux Hoopers' basketball program teaching elementary students ball handling and shooting fundamentals. He also competed on the UND men’s basketball team and earned unanimous academic all-conference honors his senior season as a back up point guard. Dan chose Creighton University because of the Jesuit tradition and their commitment to serving others.
