Michael Dawson graduated with a Classical Bachelor of Arts from Creighton University, where he majored in Latin as well as Classical and Near Eastern Civilizations. As an undergraduate, he volunteered at Creighton University Medical Center in several areas, including respiratory therapy, coronary care, and oncology. Michael is a member of the Senior Classical League, Eta Sigma Phi Honor Society, and Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society. While he enjoys studying sciences, he hopes his background in the humanities will provide academic balance and allow him to relate better to his future patients and colleagues. Michael chose Creighton for medical school because he appreciates the value that Creighton places on its students.
