Nausheen Farooqui
Nausheen Farooqui graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology.  She was a member of President’s Leadership Council, Golden Key International Honor Society, Volunteer UCF, and Student Government.  Nausheen’s prior medical experience includes working as a phlebotomist at Florida Hospital, assisting at the Healthcare Center for the Homeless, and serving as ! an Artist in Residence for inpatients.   She also contributed as a research assistant in an Alzheimer’s disease lab.  Her service efforts include organizing hunger banquets and food drives, serving as a tutor for the America Reads Challenge and a being a camp counselor for disabled children at Boggy Creek Gang Camp.  She chose Creighton University School of Medicine because of the curriculum, the friendliness of students and faculty, and the school’s focus on service.  'Creighton’s mission of service to others directly aligns with my personal goals of working with people and alleviating their conditions,' she says.
