Jeff Gladding
Reno, NV
Jeff Gladding graduated with High Distinction  from the University of Nevada, Reno.  He attained a degree in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Gerontology.  He was actively involved in the Golden Key society as Sergeant at Arms ('the bouncer'), the Phi Kappa Phi honor society, Alpha Epsilon Delta pre-medical society, Gamma Sigma Alpha Greek honor society (Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity), and the Sigma Phi Omega gerontology society.  He volunteered for two years at Saint Mary's hospital in inpatient physical therapy and also in the emergency room, conducted various research at the University of Nevada S.O.M. physiology department and chemistry department, and worked as a Scribe (Emergency Medical Assistant) in the Saint Mary's emergency room.  The decision to attend Creighton Medical was based upon relatives in the Omaha area, the casual and pleasant faculty and administration, on-site teaching hospital, and Nebraska football in the fall.  Though still uncertain, his premonition is to practice radiology in the Lake Tahoe area, as 'practicing medicine affords the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others, through intellectually challenging and entertaining roles'.  Jeff has been involved in various intramural and league sports such as football and wrestling; hobbies include hunting, snowboarding, tailgating, and wakeboarding.
