Brent graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May of 2001 with a BS in Biology and Environmental Studies. He was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. After graduation, Brent worked for the the University of Nebraska as a Laboratory Technician in the Department of Agronomy for three years. During that time, he enjoyed volunteering at the Pediatrics Department at the Nebraska Medical Center and Habitat for Humanity. Brent chose to come to Creighton University School of Medicine because of the outstanding student atmosphere. He is interested in either Family Practice or Emergency Medicine serving in the Omaha area.
