Susi Hupp graduated summa cum laude from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, WV with a Laut Honors Degree in biology and minors in chemistry and psychology. Susi volunteered at the Wheeling Hospital Emergency Room, Special Olympics, numerous Circle K International Events, a medical missions trip to Honduras, and was a volunteer assistant volleyball coach. She was also a part of the National Science Foundation Summer Research Program at Marquette University and shadowed various doctors. Susi was secretary of Psi Chi National Honor Society, and president of Sigma Tau Sigma Pre-Med Honor Society, as well as a member of the Tri-Beta National Honor Society, the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society, the Mendel Club, Circle K International, the Wheeling Jesuit volleyball team, the Psychology Club, was a an athletic tutor, and a group leader through Campus Ministry. Susi plans to become a pediatrician and specialize in cardiology/cardiovascular surgery or oncology. She also has hopes of being a missionary doctor to a Central/South America. She chose Creighton because 'it has numerous service opportunities which provide its students with a chance to get involved early. Creighton's faculty and students are amazing, and from the first time I set foot on campus, I felt like part of the Creighton family.' Susi wants to become a doctor because 'it just feels right. I enjoy giving my life and time for others, so that they may see a better day, hour, or minute. I know that God has big plans for me through this profession.'
