Jessica Renee Kaufman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Creighton University with a degree in biology. As an undergraduate, she was a member of the Creighton University Honors program, National Society for Collegiate Scholars, Omicron Delta Kappa, Theta Alpha Kappa, the Creighton University Pep Band (Go Jays!), and Creighton Students for Life, among other organizations. Jessica also volunteered as an usher for the Orpheum Theatre in Omaha, with numerous organizations through Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity; within her hometown church and through Creighton's Campus Ministry Retreat program, and for the ambulance service in her hometown. With a desire to combine a love for learning with serving others, Jessica's interest in the medical profession increased during her experience as a National-Registry First Responder, American Heart Association CPR Instructor, and data processor for Sheridan County EMS. Jessica chose Creighton University School of Medicine based on the caring community and the emphasis on the pursuit of excellence in all endeavors.
