Just a note to remind you that the Journal Club has existed for over 33 years.  It meets at the VA, Director's Conference Room from 7:00 - 9:00 on Monday evenings.  The major activity is the New England Journal with emphasis on the CPC, as well as selected articles from other journals.  I would encourage especially the 2nd year medical residents to consider coming to Journal Club because it is ideal preparation for Boards.  I would also encourage medical students that are interested in medicine or primary care to strongly consider attending as well.  I encourage all of the faculty and private internists as well as house officers to join us.

I offer a special invitation to students because I believe this is an excellent opportunity for you to evaluate the medical literature in a reasonably structured and collegial setting.
