Sketch
Stephen J. Lanspa, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.G.
Stephen J. Lanspa received his Doctorate of Medicine at Creighton University
School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a Fellow in Internal Medicine and
a Trainee in Gastroenterology at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester,
Minnesota. He is currently a Professor of Medicine and the Chief of the
Gastroenterology Division in the Department of Medicine at Creighton University
School of Medicine. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and
Gastroenterology as well as certified by the National Board of Nutritious
Support Specialties. He is Past Governor of the Nebraska Chapter of American
College of Gastroenterology.
His special interest is colon cancer and gastroesophageal reflux disease
with substantial research and publication on these topics. He has
Participation/ Expertise in the Swallowing Center and Nutritious Support
Services at Saint Joseph Hospital at Creighton University Medical Center in
Omaha, Nebraska.
