Associate Chair for Research

The Associate Chair for Research and principle administrative responsibilities to oversee the accomplishment of the research goals for the Department. These include maintaining our current strong subspecialty research programs; ensuring the presence of scholarly activity in each subspecialty division; allocating departmental resources to support specific promising subspecialty research initiatives; increasing the extramural funding for research in the department; increasing the proportion of research funds earned by the Creighton Department of Medicine at the Omaha VA Medical Center; and recruitment of new clinician investigators in internal medicine.
