This policy is a way to reward the faculty who have exceeded expectations in education and professional performance for the past academic year
1. The Academic Affairs Coordinator will prepare a report of the faculty members who have exceeded their expectations in education and in scholarly activity.
a. The Scholarly report will include the objectives that were on the Year End Evaluation Form. The Associate Chair for Research will review this report with the Chair.
b. The Educational report needs to include a copy of the evaluation graphs that were attached to the Year End Evaluation form. The Associate Chair of Education will review the report with the Chair.
c. A list will be compiled of faculty who would be given the educational or scholarly bonus for their performance.
2. The Academic Affairs Coordinator will prepare draft letters to the faculty who receive the bonuses (Attachment #1 & #2) and a draft letter to the division chiefs (Attachment #3 & #4) who may not have received the bonus but still exceeded their expectations.
3. The Chair and the Department Administrator will review the letters prior to being distributed.
4. A copy of the letters sent out will be placed in the Division notebooks under the appropriate faculty member.
