Policy:  Faculty Candidate Interviews by Chair

Procedures:

1.  During the first visit of any faculty candidate, an appointment with the Chair of Medicine will be scheduled.  If the Chair is traveling, then the Associate Chair for Academic Affairs could do the interview.  If the Associate Chair is unavailable, an appointment with one of the other Associate Chairs would be possible.  As last resort, a telephone interview could be scheduled.
