Procedures:

1.      University Policies:

a.      Each faculty member is allowed 22 working days of vacation per year.

b.      Unused vacation time may be accrued up to a total of twice the annual rate or 44 working days per year.

c.      Upon termination, a faculty member will be paid for up to 22 days of accrued vacation.

d.      All vacation taken by the faculty member must be approved by the Department chair and a record of it kept by the Department.

2.      Department of Medicine Policies:

a.      Vacation time must be approved by the Division Chief.
