Policy:     

Long distance access codes issued to employees of the Department of Medicine are for business use only. 

Procedures:

1.     Employees who need to make personal long distance telephone calls are required to use their own calling card.  If an occasion should arise that an employee needs to make a personal long distance call and does not have their calling card, they should contact Financial Manager to make special arrangements.

2.     Any employee using their long distance access code for personal usage will be required to reimburse the Department for calls made.
