The Rheumatology is very active two person division which is involved in the teaching of students and house officers as well as maintaining outpatient services at Creighton University Medical Center. They also have outreach clinics at several small hospitals in Nebraska and Iowa.
This extremely busy Division provides comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic rheumatologic diseases.
The Division has 2-3 residents assigned to the services each month. In addition, they also have senior medical students.
The Rheumatology Division conducts patient clinics daily at our facilities at St. Joseph Hospital and 7710 Mercy Road. Outreach clinics include Norfolk, Columbus and Bellevue in Nebraska as well as Onawa, Red Oak, Denison and Missouri Valley in Iowa.
The Division maintains a large outpatient service and also provides consultative services at Saint Joseph Hospital and Bergan Mercy Hospital. At the Omaha VAMC, the Division provides consultative services, and conducts very busy outpatient clinics.
