Associate Chair for VA Affairs

The Associate Chair for VA Affairs will assist the Chair in coordinating the development of recommendations for recruitment of new clinicians at the Omaha VA consistent with strategic needs for the Omaha VA and Creighton's Department of Medicine. The Associate Chair will advise the Chair and participate in the establishment of divisional and individual performance expectations at the Omaha VA in the areas of clinical productivity, service, quality of care and utilization management. Assistance in developing and dissemination of divisional and departmental performance reports in terms of productivity, service, quality of care and utilization management at the Omaha VA will be happen. The Associate Chair will serve as a liaison between the Omaha VA and the Department's Office of Education on the development of student and resident educational initiatives at the Omaha VA as well as serve as the liaison between the Omaha VA and the Department's Office of Research on the development of research initiatives at the Omaha VA Medical Center.
