Creighton University’s ADA (Americans with Disability Act) Committee is hosting a free symposium to discuss new and common issues regarding accommodation for persons with disabilities. “Thinking Differently about Disability” will present new ideas about disabilities and their implications for those with and without a disability.

The symposium takes place Thursday, April 21, 2005, from 11:30 to 4 p.m. in the Mutual of Omaha Ballroom in the V.J. and Angela Skutt Student Center. A box lunch will be provided to attendees.

Speakers include Clay Keller, Ph.D., special education workforce specialist, Special Education Policy Section, Minnesota Department of Education and Joanie Friend, Ed. D., ADA/Student Civil Rights Compliance Coordinator, Metropolitan Community Colleges, Kansas City.
