Daniel R. Wilson, M.D. has been named a recipient of the
14th Annual Nancy C.A. Roeske, M.D., Certificate of Recognition for
Excellence in Medical Student Education by the American Psychiatric
Association (APA). Wilson is professor and chair in the Department of
Psychiatry at Creighton University Medical Center.
Wilson was nominated for his significant contributions to the advancement of
medical student education, including lectures, small-group teaching,
supervision and course design. He will receive his award at the APA annual
meeting in May in New York.
The Roeske award was established to honor Nancy C.A. Roeske, M.D., as a
tribute to her unique medical education techniques and development of
special curricula for general and child psychiatry. The certificate is
awarded to APA members who have made outstanding and sustained contributions
to medical education.
