Dr. Peter Silberstein, assistant professor of medicine at Creighton
University School of Medicine and chief oncologist at Creighton University Medical Center, is
among a team of 24 cancer survivors, advocates, caregivers, physicians, and
researchers selected for the nine-day journey across America to share their
powerful stories about the promise of cancer research. Throughout its
journey, the Team will encourage people to learn more about the benefit of
cancer clinical trials and to "make the Promise."
http://www.tourofhope.org/promise/index.phpBy making the Promise you can help honor a loved one who has been touched by cancer and show your support for cancer research. Lance Armstrong and the Bristol-Myers-Squibb Tour of Hope Team will deliver the thousands of Promises to Washington, DC on October 8th, following their journey across America.
