For 17 million Americans, living with asthma is a challenge they face every day. To help patients and families affected by this disease, Creighton University Medical Center, in conjunction with the American Lung Association of Nebraska, is hosting “Living with Asthma Night” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004 in the Morrison Seminar Room at Creighton University Medical Center Hospital, 601 North 30th Street.

Topics presented by Creighton physicians Russell Hopp, M.D. and Anthony Yaghmour, M.D., F.A.A.P., and certified asthma educator, Deb Bond, R.N. include the physiology of asthma, current best practices for treating asthma in children, and asthma prevention. The presentations will be followed by an informal question and answer period.

This program is free and open to the public, however reservations are requested. Call Kathy Katt, 402-572-3030 or kkatt@lungnebraska.org.
