Creighton hereditary cancer expert and medical oncologist, Henry T. Lynch, M.D., has been named an Honor Member of the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology (SEOM) and the Cancer Heritage SEOM Section. The designation is granted to people – Spanish or international – who have made significant contributions in the field of oncology. Dr. Lynch will accept the honor in March in Madrid, Spain, at the National Meeting of SEOM Cooperative Groups. Dr. Lynch is professor of medicine, chairman of Preventive Medicine at Creighton University, and the holder of the Charles F. and Mary C. Heider Endowed Chair in Cancer Research.
