Michael Barsoom,
MD, FACOG, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology's Division of Maternal Fetal
Medicine. He also serves as the Co-director of Perinatal Ultrasound within the department. Dr. Barsoom completed his undergraduate and graduate
education at Creighton University, and then attended The University
of Connecticut where he completed his fellowship. Dr. Barsoom went on to complete his residency
at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Dr.
Barsoom returned to Omaha and joined our faculty in 2002. When not seeing patients,
Dr. Barsoom is actively involved with contributing to the education of our medical students
and residents. |

Murray
Joseph Casey, MD, MS, MBA, Professor, Department
of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine. After a year on the Medical Staff of the Boston US Public health Service Hospital, Dr. Casey was appointed a Research Staff Associate at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland, where he was engaged in the investigation of oncogenicity and tumor immunology. Following residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University presbyterian Medical Center and Francis Delafield Cancer Hospital in New Your City, Dr. casey was a US public Health Service Sr. Trainee and an American Cancer Society Fellow on the Gynecology Service of the Department of Surgery at New York's Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Casey was supported also by the American Cancer Society Fellowship to study the Radiumhemmet of the Karolinska Hospital and Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. He was Director of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Connecticut Health Center and Professor and Associate Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Wisconsin Medical School. Dr. Casey has served as Surgeon, Lt. Commander, in the US Public Health Service and as Colonel in the US Army Medical Corps Reserve. Dr. Casey is a Fellow of the American COllege of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American College of Surgeons, and he holds a Certificate of Special Competence from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Amongst many other professional organizations, he is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologist and the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, and he has served on the elected Boards, standing committees, and as President of several state, national and international medical and scientific societies. Dr. Casey is the author of over a hundred invited and peer reviewed papers and publications, and he is a reviewer for many prestigious professional journals. Besides basic research, Dr. Casey has contributed to clinical investigations in cancer diagnosis and treatment, clinical-pathological correlations and the science, diagnosis and management of hereditary gynecologic caner. He was a member of Medical Services for the XIII Winter Olympic Games in lake Placid, 1980, author of several publications in sports medicine and editor-in-cheif of the text Winter Sports Medicine. |

Alfred
D. Fleming, MD, FACOG, is a Professor and Chairman
of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Fleming is a graduate
of Creighton University School of Medicine and holds his Masters
degree in Biology from Creighton as well. Dr. Fleming served
as an intern and resident in the Department of Obstetrics
and Gynecology at Creighton University and then completed
a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University
of Connecticut Health Center. He is the Medical Director for
Creighton University Medical Center’s Family Birth Center and serves as Chairman of
the medical center’s Perinatal Committee as well. |

Maureen
E. Fleming, MD is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics
and Gynecology and is considered our full-time community faculty.
She served her internship/residency in the Creighton University
School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She was in private practice from 1991 to1996. She came to our
Department in August of 1996 as community-base full-time faculty.
Dr. Maureen Fleming participates in educational activities by
lectures and presentations to medical students and residents. |

Caron
J. Gray, MD is Assistant Professor of Obstetrics
and Gynecology for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Gray is the Director of Ambulatory Clinic and the Residency Program Director. She graduated from Northwestern University, Chicago, IL and
served her internship/residency at David Grant USAF Medical
Center at Travis AFB, CA. Dr. Gray practiced Obstetrics and
Gynecology at Ehrling Bergquist Hospital at Offutt, AFB from
1995-1999. Dr. Gray joined our Department of Obstetrics and
Gynecology in 1999. Dr. Gray plays an important role in the
education of our residents and medical students. |

Kathryn Kenna, MD Clinical Instructor of Obstetrics
and Gynecology. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and served her internship/residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Kenna joined our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology after her residency in 2006. |

Jimmy
Khandalavala, MD - Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Khandalavala is a graduate of St. John's Medical College in Bangalore, India. He completed his residency in the specialties of Family Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology at Creighton University School of Medicine. He subsequently joined the faculty of the Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Family Medicine at Creighton University Medical Center in 1999. Dr. Khandalavala provides complete Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive services at both our clinic sites in addition to comprehensive Obstetric and General Gynecology services. He is currently the Directory of Gynecologic Ultrasound in our Department. He has lectured extensively on the subjects of Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Incontinence, Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, Menopause, and Minimally Invasice Surgery. |

Annamaria
Nagy, MD is Adjunct
Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a
graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and
served her internship/residency in obstetrics and gynecology
at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver,
Colorado. She joined our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
in 1997. Academically Dr. Annamaria Nagy is very active by
giving presentations/textbook review to residents and medical
students.

Kristi NewMyer, MD is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a graduate of Creighton University, and served her internship/residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. NewMyer joined our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology after her residency in 2005. |

She is a graduate of Creighton University, and served her internship/residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Rice joined our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology after her residency in 2006. |

Richert Taylor, MD - Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and
Gynecology. He completed his undergraduate education, graduate
education, and residency at Creighton University. He practiced
Obstetrics, Gynecology and Cytopathology in private practice
for 36 years. After going into retirement Dr. Taylor
joined our clinic to supervise our outpatient clinics for resident and medical student education.. He has
a wealth of valuable knowledge and experience which he generously
shares with our residents and medical students. |
